Christmas in July? {Sierra Vista Family Photographer}

Happy July everyone!!  I hope everyone had a fantastic Independence Day and you were able to celebrate with those you love!

I know with the temps nearing 3-digits and the kids in full swing of summer boredom, it’s hard to think about Christmas time in July.  However, the calendar here is getting full quickly and before you know it, we will be scrambling to gather the family together in fantastic outfits to update pictures and quickly get your holiday greetings created and sent out.

Our calendar for 2014 is almost completely full.  Here are the available custom session slots:

July: Booked
August: Booked
September: 2 slots
October: Booked
November: 2 slots
December: Hospital minis & newborns ONLY

You read that right, there are only FOUR slots left for this entire year.   Don’t panic!  We will be offering TWO mini-session dates to have you ready for your Christmas cards!

How is a mini-session different than a custom session?

  1. Only 20-25 minutes long.
  2. On a pre-determined date, location, and time slot.
  3. Does not include a custom proofing session, all images are viewed in an online (shareable) gallery and delivered digitally (so you miss out on my fantastic brownies and the beautifully wrapped package at delivery).
  4. The price is all-inclusive, meaning that your fee covers your session AND the set number of digital files.

Our first day will be Saturday, September 13th, 2014 from 4:15-6:45 p.m.  The advantage to September is that the grass and trees are still green and full.  We will choose a lush location for this set.  The time slots will be:

4:15-4:40 p.m.
4:45-5:10 p.m.
5:15-5:40 p.m.
5:45-6:10 p.m.
6:15-6:40 p.m.

Our second day will be Saturday, November 15th, 2014 from 3:00-5:30 p.m.  In November, the air is finally cooling and you can dress in more festive and seasonal outfits!  This is also great for those last-minute cards to send out!  We will choose a rustic location for this set. The time slots will be:

3:00-3:25 p.m.
3:30-3:55 p.m.
4:00-4:25 p.m.
4:30-4:55 p.m.
5:00-5:25 p.m.

The session fee this year is $165.  However, if you book by August 1st, 2014 you will get an early-bird rate of $150!!  The prime slots go quickly, so check your calendar and call soon!

How do you book?
It’s super easy!!  Once you’ve chosen your date, call the office at 520-226-9567 OR email me at  For convenience, please have your top three preferred time slots ready! I can take your payment over the phone or send you an invoice online.

Now for the nitty-gritty details:
The session fee includes your session and five (5) digital images with a personal-use license. Payment must be received in full in order to hold your time slot. Your online sharable gallery will include 7-10 images from which to choose your favorite five.  We will only take images of the entire family OR individuals of the kids (whichever type you have booked).  The short time frame does not allow for us to break out into smaller groups.  Referral credit may be used to pay for mini-sessions.  Customer Loyalty rewards will be a bonus image from your gallery. Any remaining Black Friday 2013 gift certificates may also be used towards mini-sessions. Discounts and credits may be stacked. Time is limited and punctuality is greatly appreciated.  Slots cannot be extended to accommodate a late-arrival.  Early arrival is recommended to give you time to adjust clothing, fix hairstyles, wipe baby faces, etc before your session.
